PROVIDE INPUT: Wadsworth Road Improvements
Submit ideas, questions and concerns at lakecountyil.gov/WadsworthRd
The Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) is studying potential improvements to Wadsworth Road, and we want to hear from you!
Approximately 2.5 miles of Wadsworth Road between Sheridan Road to Lewis Ave. in Waukegan and Beach Park has aging infrastructure that needs to be replaced. LCDOT is using this opportunity to rehabilitate the road, look for ways to improve traffic flow and safety such as adding a third middle lane, and to investigate potential non-motorized travel accommodations along Wadsworth Road.
Planning for the project has just begun and no final plans are being considered right now. Now, the public is encouraged to provide their input on existing conditions and what the community hopes the project can improve upon.

How to Provide Input
LCDOT created a virtual forum for you to share your ideas and questions through April 12, 2021. All input submitted through the website goes directly to the project study team.
