January 23, 2006 -- Early voting offered to eligible voters beginning February 27
Early voting will be offered to eligible voters from February 27 to March 16. Voters will have an opportunity to vote early without reason -- not required to be absent, physically disabled, etc. Voters are required to present a valid Illinois driver’s license, Illinois identification card issued by the Secretary of State or another government-issued identification document containing their photograph, name and address. Early voting will be available at most townships and a few municipal offices. Voters should make sure they are registered to vote.
