August 15, 2007 -- Road Closure
The Union Pacific Railroad in cooperation with the Lake County Division of Transportation will close their crossing on Wadsworth Road, (County Rout A-9), east of Delany Road, for three days starting at 8:00 am, Thursday, August 23, 2007.
The Union Pacific Railroad will replace the existing railroad rubber crossing, which was installed in 1993 with a concrete composite crossing. At this time, the Union Pacific Railroad does not anticipate that any track work will be required.
As shown on the attached map, a signed detour will be posted using Delany Road (County Route W-27), Yorkhouse Road (County Route A-15), and Greenbay Road (Illinois Route #131).
