Transportation
Beach Park is linked to other lakeshore
communities by a Pace bus line running along
Sheridan Road, and the Metra Chicago & North
Western/North Line with stations in Waukegan and
Zion. Access to Chicago and Milwaukee can also be
attained via Interstate 94.

Waukegan Regional Airport - The Waukegan
Regional Airport is a general aviation facility
categorized by the FAA as a "reliever airport" for
Chicago's O'Hare International. In this roll we
aim to provide efficient handling of private,
corporate, business, executive and governmental
aircraft that choose to operate in Northeast
Illinois and Southeast Wisconsin. With the 6,000
foot runway, Instrument Landing System, Manned Air
Traffic Control Tow0er, and even a US Customs
office which provides clearances for direct
international arrivals, Waukegan Regional Airport
has reached prominence as a base of operations for
"Chicagoland's Fortune 500 Flyers."
O'Hare International Airport (ORD)-
O'Hare International Airport offers more
connections to more cities, more often than any
other airport in the world. Voted the "Best
Airport in North America" by readers of Business
Traveler International for seven consecutive years
(1998 - 2004), it's no wonder that more than
190,000 smart travelers make O'Hare their airport
of choice every day. About 32 miles.
General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) -
General Mitchell International Airport is a
medium-hub airport owned and operated by Milwaukee
County. Mitchell's 13 airlines offer roughly 252
daily departures (plus 252 daily arrivals).
Approximately 90 cities are served nonstop or
direct from Mitchell International. It is the
largest airport in Wisconsin, as well as being a
convenient alternative to O'Hare International
Airport for those in northern Illinois. The
airport terminal is open 24 hours a day. Use the
